Who we are

IdeatorLabs is a small software studio working from Solna, Stockholm, Sweden. We decide why and how the personal data described here is processed, which makes us the controller for it.

You can reach us at hello@ideatorlabs.se.

What we collect

If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, project type and message you enter. We use them to answer you and to have the conversation you started — nothing else, and we do not sell them or use them for advertising.

If you accept analytics, we collect aggregate usage data: which pages are visited, roughly where in the world visitors are, and which site referred them. This is statistical, and we do not use it to identify you.

Our host records standard server logs, including IP addresses, as part of delivering and securing the site.

Why we are allowed to

For the contact form, the basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to people who ask us something.

For analytics, the basis is your consent. Nothing analytics-related is stored on your device until you accept, and you can withdraw at any time using the Cookies link in the footer.

For server logs, the basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website.

Who processes data for us

Resend delivers the email that the contact form generates. Your message passes through their systems on the way to our inbox.

Google Analytics provides the usage statistics described above. The script loads for every visitor, but until you accept it runs in a mode that stores nothing on your device and reports only an anonymous, cookieless signal. Your IP address reaches Google either way.

Vercel hosts the site and produces the server logs.

These providers are US-based or transfer data to the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

NEXT_LOCALE remembers whether you are reading the site in English or Swedish. It is strictly necessary for the site to work as you asked it to, so it is set without consent.

il_consent remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we stop asking. It lasts 180 days and contains nothing but that choice.

_ga and related Google Analytics cookies are set only after you accept, and distinguish one visitor from another so visits can be counted. Decline, and they are never written.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages are kept while the conversation is live and for as long as we may reasonably need them afterwards, then deleted.

Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically.

Your consent choice expires after 180 days, at which point we ask again.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop processing it, and ask for it in a portable form. Where processing rests on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting what was done beforehand.

Email hello@ideatorlabs.se and we will respond within one month.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), Box 8114, 104 20 Stockholm, imy@imy.se.
